Mr. Oswald received an M.A. in Economics, University of Kansas, 1951. His gifts to the department have placed the University of Kansas Economics program on the path to international recognition.

Toru Hashimoto

Mr. Hashimoto became Chairman of the Fellow Committee of Fuji Research Institute Corporation, an affiliate of Fuji Bank, Japan, in June 2000, his current post. When he visited the department in 1998, he was Chairman of the Board of the Fuji Bank.
