Perhaps the greatest strength of the KU Economics Department is the energy and enthusiasm of the faculty, students and support staff.

Graduate students are generally impressed with the congenial, collegiate atmosphere that prevails. This spirited environment has fostered excellence in both teaching and research. Our student to faculty ratio is very low and students work closely with faculty members. The department is internationally diverse and International Economics is a special interest of many faculty members and students.
