Economics PhD Student Fangli Liao Awarded KU Doctoral Student Research Funds (DSRF)


Economics PhD student Fangli Liao was awarded a University of Kansas Doctoral Student Research Funds (DSRF) totaling $1,250. The research money will be used in support of her dissertation research. Research topics include how parental migration affects the physical inactivity of left-behind children in China, the impacts of parental migration on the drinking and smoking behavior of left-behind children, and how the poverty alleviation program in China affects the well-being of children.
