Job Posting: Postdoctoral Researcher Position!


The University of Kansas invites applications for a one-year Postdoctoral Research Fellow position supporting an interdisciplinary project within the NSF ERC Environmentally Applied Refrigerant Technology Hub (EARTH). The project focuses on exploring behavior-shaping solutions to improve compliance with environmental protocols among HVAC technicians to help reduce the release of refrigerant emissions with high atmospheric impact potential. The work involves collaboration with researchers at University of South Dakota and Lehigh University, as well as researchers from University of Notre Dame, University of Maryland, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, along with several technical training schools. Key Responsibilities: Design and analyze both online and field experiments. Conduct interviews with HVAC technicians. Manage quantitative and qualitative data. Collaborate with partner companies and fellow research teams. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in economics, psychology, or related social science. Experience with interviews, online experiments, or field experiments. Strong quantitative data skills and communication skills. Start Date: Between May 27 and August 1, 2026!
